Long Post of Wedding Scrapbook Album

This was one of the very few projects I had been working on since my last post over 2 months ago! I had seen my upline Andrea Walford's create fabulous scrapbooks from SU Simply Scrappin' kits Hoppy Memories and Tailor Made and got the idea to use her template along with the Love Sparkles Simply Scrappin' kit to create a mini wedding album. You can see great pictures of the albums fully opened up if you click on the links! I was not able to get any pictures of the whole thing opened up due to space!

I love the way this album turned out and the tutorial on how to create it was so clear! Once fully made, the album features 14 scrapbook pages that all fold up into a beautiful compact album. The colours (chocolate chip, so saffron, and regal rose) of this "Love Sparkles" simply scrappin' kit look perfect with the sepia toned photographs from the wedding. Note that I did add pretty in pink paper into the mix for more colour 'cause it matched the dp in the kit really well.

There's going to be lots of pictures but it lets you see each page of my album! So I hope you'll bear wtih me to see the pages! (I'll title the pages the same way as Andrea does so for those of you who own the directions you can see how they translated).

Here is the closed up album so you can see how it looks all folded up. This is pages 1(top) and page 14(bottom) of the album, the picture beside this shows the inserts that pull out by the circle tabs from these pages.

Page 2 of the album: Page 3 of the album: Pages 4, 5, and 6 of the album all opened up (these open up from pages 2 and 3; also note that you can see page 1 above and page 13 below in the picture) Here are closer looks at pages 4, 5, and 6 respectively.

Here's a look at page 7: Page 8: Pages 9, 10, 11 (pages 7 and 8 open up to reveal these pages in the same way as pages 2 and 3 open up to reveal 4, 5, and 6) In this picture you can see page 2 on the top and page 12 on the bottom). Here are closer looks at pages 9, 10, and 11 respectively:

Here's a look at page 12 along with the insert that pulls out in the same way as above for pages 1 and 14. Finally, here is a look at page 13 (you've already seen page 14 above) with it's insert pulled partly out for you to see. See, I wasn't kidding when I said there were a lot of pictures! Hope you've enjoyed looking at them. Plus, even better, you can make two full albums like this out of one Simply Scrappin' kit!! How AWESOME is that when they are only $26.95. The only additional materials are photos, glue and depending on how you want it to look you can use punches (as I used the circle punch to create the little half circle on the pages where inserts go) or add ribbons, brads, etc. You are only limited by your imagination! What a cheap alternative to creating a full album. You could even do a baby's full year of growth and more (one page per month)!

Sorry the picture quality isn't too great but it's hard to get good photos when this album ends up so large! Definitely check out the link to Andrea's tutorial pages to see how it all opens up!

Let me know if you have any questions about anything that I have shown or questions about Andrea's tutorials!
