Birthday SFYTT

October 6 was my Dad's birthday (Happy Birthday Daddy!) and in terms of crafting, it made me realize how few birthday cards I actually make, so I'm going to start trying to make more! I know I tend to focus on thank you cards but that tends to be what gets used the most.

To get me started in my goal to make more birthday cards, I used Jen's SFYTT again. I tried to leave the focus just on all of the straight lines in the sketch (if you know me and are reading this you know how much I love straight lines and symmetry). I'm really happy with the way that this card turned out. Sorry for the crappy photo, but it's not too bright out, it's supposed to SNOW here today! Don't you just love the washington apple designer paper? I think it's my favourite from the new catalogue.

Stamps: SU Full of Life
Ink: SU riding hood red
Paper: SU riding hood red, bashful blue, ww, washington apple dp
Misc: SU dimensionals

This is fantastic, Allison! Love all the bright, happy red! I never seem to have enough birthday cards either - thanks for the inspiration!
