Another Thank You from Maggie
Here's another one of the thank you cards I made for gifts that were given to Maggie.
Here's a peek at the inside of the card too.
The card front was designed using the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge 77 found here.
This card was made using MDS and the Stamp sets "thank you kindly" and "man's best friend." The colours are regal rose, so saffron and early espresso. These were printed on ww cardstock, trimmed down and attached to an early espresso card base.

Maggie's Thank You Cards
Of all the stamps I have, I don't own a dog stamp so I've been using MDS which comes with the dog stamp "Man's Best Friend" to make some thank you cards for people who gave presents to Maggie.
I'll be posting more puppy thank you cards soon!
This first one uses the SCS SC316 as a starting point for the card.
Here's a look at the inside of this card.
This one uses the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 100 which can be found here.
Here's a look at the inside of this card.
Seeing as I wanted to get these out in the mail relatively quickly, I just printed them on my home computer on ww cardstock. I trimmed them down and adhered them to the coordinating chocolate chip card base to create a border of chocolate all around the outside. I found that the only thing that didn't print well on my home computer was the chocolate chip grosgrain ribbon in the first card - it turned out just looking flat like a piece of chocolate chip cardstock. Everything else on both cards printed as they look but a bit darker(if you print through SU the colours will be true to the SU colour.I'll be posting more puppy thank you cards soon!

Meet Maggie!
Maggie is the newest addition to our family! She is a 5 month old, 10 Ibs miniature schnauzer who will probably grow to 16 - 18 Ibs.
Isn't she just the cutest?! We always had a dog growing up so I couldn't wait to finally get our own dog. First, I had to wait until we were in our house because our apartment didn't allow pets. Then, I wanted to wait until the summer when we could build a fence so she wasn't trained to always get a walk when she has to go to the bathroom. However, I quickly scrapped that idea when I then saw this little girls picture. We decided to buy her from a breeder in BC so we then had to wait until she could be flown out to us, which, turned out to be a good thing so we could build a little dog run for her. Now, after three weeks of waiting for her to fly out, we finally have her! As a result, I most likely won't be posting much because we are busy training and playing!

SFYTT Thinking of You
Grant got some unfortunate news over the weekend that the mother of one of the little boys from the school he was at last year passed away. He asked me to make a "thinking of you" card using some leafy images so it wasn't too girly. I used Jen's January SFYTT as a starting point.
Button: SU Very Vanilla designer button
The leafy image was stamped in StazOn ink on watercolour paper and coloured using my garden green marker and aqua painter. I love the dimension that it gives to the image.
Stamps: SU Teeny Tiny Wishes, Growing Green
Ink: Jet Black StazOn, SU garden geen
Paper: SU watercolour paper, very vanilla, garden green, woodland walk dp
Punch: SU 1" circle
Ribbon: SU linen threadButton: SU Very Vanilla designer button
